Shanas Shoe Box

About me:

Open a lid to my shoe box and you will find,everything but shoes!! I often hold a mix of items inside those little boxes, and when time came to name my shop found in Olcott ny 14126, I could think of no name better. Inside my shoe box you will find my Clothing designs, My art work (Both wearable and not),Jewlery, Poems, Candles, and loads of house hold items. Shanas Shoe Box is an ever changeing store front on the water front shores of lake Ontario in western NY. I come from a familey of artists. Learning how to sew from my grandmother at the age of 7 I used this skill ot reflect myself image threw out school. I learned fast that people loved what I made and after high school I created the life I hope ot expand. My shop is my home, it is where my heart can be found. I put all my time and effort into creating beautiful designs to not only showcase my talent, but to make the world a bit more of a beautiful place. People look at fashion as a way to explain who they are. If you look at me in my skinny jeans and 70's inspired top's and my black nerd glasses I'm not sure what you'd think, but I know that I'd rather spend my time makeing others beautiful and feel great about themselves then on myself. I know I'm often over looked as a designer beacuse the models and people in my industrie are so beautiful it can hurt the soal, but I feel I create a perfect stepping stone for myself in that what I make makes me just as beautiful. I hope you'll find something of yourself in my designs, and keep in mind that I do custom wears as ewll as what is shown threw my portfolio. I feel just by looking threw my port, you'll see the person of whom I am!!! xoxo
