Shane 54 is one of the best known dj/producers from the Eastern European region, he lives in Budapest, Hungary. Since early 2008 he's one half of production / dj duo Myon & Shane 54. His critically-acclaimed productions and remixes been released all over the world from Japan to Mexico, on labels like Anjunabeats, Black Hole, Vandit, Avex or Nebula amongst many more. He remixed artists like Paul Oakenfold, Madonna, Lenny Kravitz, BT, Above & Beyond or Lange. His weekly radioshow "Laptop Dj sessions" on Hungary's Roxy FM and American ETN.fm also accessible through his podcast. He had guest mixes on Above & Beyond's Trance Around The World, Germany's Sunshine FM, and countless other radio shows all around the web. Due to his musical background (he was the singer of a succesful Hungarian boy band before his solo pop career in the 90s) he's also a featured vocalist on other artists' records. Beam (On Your Mind), Mr. Sam (Lost & Found) or Misja Helsloot (Back From Your Past) are just a few artists Shane 54 collaborated with his voice. As a dj he swapped vinyls and cds to a laptop, and never looked back ever since. This way he can have total control over the music. His unique style breaks the barriers of styles, decades, or musical genres, by often mashing tracks up live. Apart from Hungarian parties he had gigs in Holland, UK, USA, Germany, France, Slovakia, Slovenia or Switzerland (in the the latter 2 he has regular dates every year) In 2006 he received a VIVA Comet Hungary Award nomination for best dj / electronic act. in 2007 he spent all year travelling around the world with his Laptop Dj TV Show visiting parties, clubs, producers and djs. The 2 season's 43 episodes featured a wide range of artists including Paul Van Dyk, Tiesto, Ferry Corsten, Pete Tong, Judge Jules, and many, many more in numerous countries on 3 continents. Now he's back constantly producing new music with Myon.
