so I came in third at the art competition.....here is mine....
This is the piece that won first place....... a big rock that looks like a face with a waterfall coming out of its head.....
and here is second place....Crying Jesus in space.....
Did I get third because I have won it the last two years? You tell me......Due to a rain shower the event was not judged by the official judge, but rather by the event organizers....who were well aware that some of my fellow competitors were losing heart having not won anything....and they are trying to keep the event going.
Did I get third because long before saturday I had wondered whether or not i should "throw " it and let someone else win for a change....I certainly dialed it back a bit and didnt try quite as hard as I might have....,...but still.....Can you honestly say that mine was not the better piece........Or am I bitching about nothing?
