Shane Bridges is a singer/songwriter that has been on the scene since 1995 when he and fellow friend Josh Carson formed Acoustic Workshop. After heavy touring for 3 years and selling a very impressive amount of cd's independently, Acoustic Workshop made quite a name throughout the southeast. At the end of 1997 Acoutsic Workshop would come to an end, which would spark a new beginning for Shane's writing. Several months later, he and Josh would start a new band called Dear America. This time the music had a different style, and a little more edge.
Shane had begun to write more radio friendly tunes that would catch the ears of industrty people such as Ian Copeland, Entertainment Lawyer Nick Ferarra, Michael Rosenblatt (MCA) and sveral other major labels. Encouraged to go as a singer/songwriter, Shane still held off for one more band. His final band before going solo was Oldstar. Shane started Oldstar after coming out of the studio in 1999. He recorded the Oldstar album with the help from Peter Stroud (guitarist for Don Henley, Sheryl Crow, Pete Droge). After Oldstar dismembered, Shane did what lawyers and labels told him to do years before...go solo. Shane released a new cd at end of 2007 called "broken window pains" which he recorded in Nashille Tennesse. The cd has taken off and has spread it's way through the southeast. Shane has landed his songs on popular tv shows such as "The Hills" MTV, "The Real World" MTV, CMT, VH-1 & many other network television shows. Chances are you have heard his music on some of your favorite tv shows. Shane is currently touring the southeast with his band. Listen out for him coming to a town near you

This is the first time I've gotten to record within my brand spanking new ~ totally optimized Ashram / Asylum ~ & I must say with this updated digital recording facility & some new axes to grind ~ it is truly a luxury at it's finest ~ at least it is for me me me !!!!! So here it is ~ just a rhythm track I'd made over the last couple of days ~ in order to acclimate myself with all the new toys I now have at my disposal . . . I'll be writing lots of new lyrics as well as new music ~ for both of my upcoming projects ~ the follow-up to my debut CD now available on Moiko Records ~ it's a new concept album I've been (Ben) working on for over a year & a half ~ as well as the awesome new version of The Altruistic Messiah's latest touring band ~ a line up consisting of life long friends & a few of the most amazingly talented new individuals I have just recently had the honor to become associated with !
