stop harassing via myspace.
i prefer to be harassed face-to-face.
its easier to get a restraining order that way

Oh yeah, JP features zombies at their finest.
It's also Tony Todd's best work ever.

It's like... really good.

yeah i don't really know which i like better, but they're both really good i think. actors usually make the worst musicians, but i guess there's an exception to every rule.

ya know what else is a surprisingly good pop record? the new record from jason schwartzman's alter-ego coconut records. it's been stuck in my head for like 2 weeks.

ya know i've never heard taylor swift? my friend caitlin is her violinist and i've still never gotten around to listening to her. your suggestions are indeed clever. much of which i've done believe it or not. to some degree. i haven't made it to 100 songs yet. well, not for the new album anyway. i'm only at about 60, but there's at least a handful of pretty decent songs in there, they just need to be fine-tuned. the material is there for a really good record, it just has to be fine-tuned and cleaned up a bit. allowing myself to write pop-songs is a skill i'm still aquiring, but i'm getting better at it.

i certainly still have the ambition to make a record. i just got myself into a rut over the winter. the thing was, i did it without even realizing i'd done it. i got hyperfocused on work (the joys of being self employed) and forgot to save time for music. oops. but now that i've realized i have a problem i can fix it. after all admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovering right? my name is jesse and im a songwritter...

dude i knooooow. im getting old and lame. and to make matters worse i seem to have lost my "artistic" motivation somewhere across the last few months. but i'm trying to get it back. i want to get it back in the worst way. i think im actually gonna rent a cabin or something somewhere for a week or two and just lock myself away to write. pull a little shane curry action:)

seriously tho. guilt should be applied now. 28 is already too old, and by the time 30 rolls around it'll be too late and i might as well just be taken out back and shot.

Wha! They didn't make it on to the release? Well if the songs on the CD are better than the ones I have...I can't even imagine that.

Awesome! Thanks! I'm really excited to write that up!

Well do you think it would be ok if I previewed your album on TIG? Because it's too good to not get some attention on there. But if you'd rather keep it on the dl that's fine c:

Yes we must meet up before I leave! Are there more songs that you're recording?

I must tell you that my friends and I listen to your CD pretty much every day. It's our official soundtrack of the summer. Please play a show this summer, I want to see you and we want to rock out!

Have you heard?!
Have you seen?!
Michael Ian Black & Michael Showalter have a NEW show on Comedy Central!

I somehow immediately thought of you after seeing the commercial last night. That makes sense, right? Maybe?

i'm watching alf, and it definitely makes me think of you for multiple reasons. namely: classy sax solos, and sassy puppets.

classy and sassy, just like you!

May 18 2009 2:18 AM

yeah, even funnier...when Hey Four Eyes started, I pulled up to a stoplight by Casino Rd. and there was a lady with SERIOUS Lynnwood hair, in the car next to me. The sun shining on her hairspray streaks... I turned it up a litttle, I bet she LOVED it! hahahaha!

I totally blasted your music on evergreen way today... windows down, sun shinin' it was RAD! The bass was pumpin'! haha so fun...

Daisy is totally the existential Shane Curry song. I like it a lot, but I feel that it doesn't really fit in with all the other Milky Whites stuff. its funny, in some of your songs you sound a bit like Danny Elfman. Its cool man.
