As you can see, I'm not a writer who is interested in fluffy feel good movies...I really like to push the envelope.

About me: Welcome to my world...Welcome to the world of the Independent Filmmaker
As a writer and a Director, I am completely obsessed by film. From inhabiting a parallel world of characters, plots, twists and turns as I flesh out an original screenplay, to bringing those pages to life, the whole process fascinates me.
In 2002 I was given the opportunity to work alongside two Hollywood legends, Joel Schumacher and Jerry Bruckheimer on the "Veronica Guerin" movie. It was an experience that inspired me to become a writer/director. I have to date written six features and am currently working on my seventh!
In 2005 The Irish Film Board funded my short film Never Judge a Book which premiered at the 4th Annual Dublin International Film Festival in 2006
In May 2007 I shot my first short movie,Lucky Escape a modern day romance which explores the universal theme, Look before you leap

Hi Shane, great to meet you too. Hope the rest of your stay in LA was beneficial. How was the party on the Wednesday night? It was a shame we flew home that night. Take care, Ian
Hey Shane, the screening was awesome, the flick turned out really well! We both had a good night, sorry we had to leave so early. Catch you sometime soon.
Hi, hope you don't mind a plug (but it involves a free Chris Singleton track).
1 Here's the free track, 'Worry Number One': click here to download. It's a mix of Beatles, Bowie, and Bolan.
2. If you do like it, you can download the new single, 'Tonight' on iTunes or, if you live in Ireland, by texting music 233 to 57501 or visiting downloadmusic.ie. Costs about 1 Euro.
3. And if you really like that, you can get the album, "Twisted City", from good record shops or on the net from CD World, Amazon or iTunes.
Thank you very much - and I hope you'll excuse the cheeky plug. Feel free to send Chris your feedback - just drop him a Myspace message.
Hey Shane, happy (belated) birthday!! Hope you had a good one! Was thinking of you a good few times yesterday -"Have to ring Shane!!" - but the aftermath of the show had me firmly in its grip and it was constantly a case of "yea, lets get this finished here, and then I'll ring him..." Excuses, excuses..! Really sorry I didn't call, will try and give ya a buzz today! :)
How are you? I heard the new project has been coming along nicely, looking forward to seeing how it all turned out. Thanks for letting me be a part of it, it was a great experience. - Pete
