Shane Murphy has been in the entertainment industry for quite a long time. He started out at four years of age dancing on stage and eventually picked up singing, piano, guitar and has been entertaining people ever since.
At the age of sixteen landed a gig as a professional announcer and later worked his way into on-air radio. Realizing his first love was singing, songwriting and performing for live audiences, he dropped everything and moved from Salt Lake City, Ut. to Nashville, TN. to pursue a career in music.
While in Nashville, Shane worked as a studio singer and played local venues with many artists. Being a struggling artist, he ended up taking a job as a dance intructor for a local studio to make ends meet. He eventually made a name for himself in the dance industry and was recruited by a major nationwide dance cooperation and moved to the Phoenix area, where he still resides.
Realizing once again his first true love is music, he quit teaching professionally and began working the nightclub circuit as a deejay, and now fronts a local band, records his original music, and runs live sound for many artists.

Hi Shane Murphy, Heaven & Earth is on hiatus now as Stuart Smith and Richie Onori have joined forces with bassist Steve Priest to reform "Sweet". For those of you unfamiliar with the band, Sweet originally formed in the early 70s and went on to sell over 40,000,000 albums with 11 International Top Ten Hits such as "Ballroom Blitz", "Little Willy", "Love is Like Oxygen", "Fox on the Run", "Teenage Rampage", "Action", "Blockbuster", "Hellraiser" and many others.
This reincarnation of the band reformed last year, playing their first show in June, and went on to play festivals throughout Canada and the States and had played to over 300,000 people before the year was out.
