Shane! Shane! Shane! (S!3) was formed in 2000, on the Gulf Coast of Alabama, by lead singer and guitarist Shane! With a core group of 4 musicians and an extensive list of accomplished side men (and women), S!3 has delighted audiences at festivals, gala events, and weddings. The band performed, while being simulcast into New Orleans via WLOX, at the 2005 "Jazz In The Pass" festival in Pass Christian, Mississippi, to rave reviews. ********* S!3 "attracts discerning musicians and sophisticated admirers, who are mesmerized by the band's musical virtuosity and the powerful vocals of lead singer and band founder Shane!... Whether it's a Bossa Nova arrangement of Ventura Highway, an upbeat swing version of King Of The Road, or a snazzy rendition of Satin Doll, this popular group showcases an enormous scope of styles infused with an inventive new slant... Shane! and the band are a tribute to the classics of past eras and the best of modern music..." JAZZ IN THE PASS website 2005 ********** Shane!, as a solo performer, has become known for performing an eclectic mix of selections from various genres with a jazz flair, in Country Clubs, upscale restaurants/bars, and Inns. Most recently, at the Lakewood Golf and Country Club at The Grand in Point Clear, Alabama; teaching and performing at the Gulf Coast Ethinic and Heritage Jazz Festival in Mobile, AL; and now, at the new Vonn Jazz Lounge in Columbus, OH. Shane! has performed throughout much of the Eastern half of the U.S.A. while living in Boston, MA and Atlanta, GA. ******** Recently, due to the lingering impact of Hurricane Katrina on the Gulf Coast economy, Shane! has relocated to Columbus, OH. Sadly leaving sunsets over Mobile Bay, the members of the band, and fans in the SE, Shane! is excited to be forming a local band in OH with hopes of touring nationally in the upcomming year.
