Back in 2004-2005, Menace and Carney started a group known as the FuXXXquad. It was all about sex and killin' and just being funny. They were doing it pretty much just for fun. Then Dank came into the picture along with Ded Cho. Rockin' mini-shows at Carney's apartment in Carlisle for ANYONE WHO DECIDED TO STOP OVER!!! (And back then there were ALOT of visitors!) Then Menace and Dank had a falling out (1 of many) for a hot minute. That's when Carney and Dank started the Shangri-La SoldierZ. That's also around the time they met Liggett The Demon and GangstaGook, a.k.a. Malitia. Demon invited Dank and Carney up to Gook's studio one night to record. That's when the 1st ever Shangri-La SoldierZ song was recorded. It was Fuck'em Up. A month or so later Menace and Dank patched up their differences and Carney finally got his wish, Menace was now the 3rd member of the Shangri-La SoldierZ. They also decided to roll with Malitia Records and Gook and Demon. On April 13th, 2007, the SoldierZ got to put on their VERY 1st Show at the Cameron St. Cafe. But as time went on, Carney, Menace, Jenocide and Jewlz started realizing something about Dank. His heart was not in it. He was doing NOTHING but holding back the true shine of the Shangri-La SoldierZ. Then on August 4th, 2007, 3 days away from their Bomb House preformance at GOTJ, HE COMMITTED THE ULTIMATE SIN!!! DANK WAS FOREVER KICKED OUT OF THE FAM, OUT OF THE SOLDIERZ AND OUT OF OUR LIVES!!! And it was on that night the BEST DECISION we've ever made was made. JENOCIDE WAS NAMED THE 3RD MEMBER OF THE SHANGRI-LA SOLDIERZ!!! THAT WAS THE MISSING LINK, THE MISSING PIECE OF THE PUZZLE AND WITH THAT FINAL PIECE NOW IN PLACE THE TRUE SHINE OF THE SHANGRI-LA SOLDIERZ COULD NOW BE WITNESSED!!! The Bomb House got rocked and Juggalos showed great love for the SoldierZ but it was on Oct. 6th in Baltimore where the Carney, Menace and Jenocide got to unveil the NEW Shangri-La SoldierZ. And we got MAD LOVE!!! IT WAS GREAT!!! Soon it will be time for the Shangri-La SoldierZ to make the Underground tremble and FOREVER burn the name, Shangri-La SoldierZ on the Underground map by dropping their long awaited debut album, Heaven Sent Hell Bent!!! THE SHANGRI-LA SOLDIERZ ARE COMIN' TO GET YOU!!!!
