"Shank have born, died and reborn many times since 1998. We come from the heel of the boot-shaped country known as Italy. Ten years have passed and two singers, three bass players and one guitarist have come and gone. Notable experiences so far include shows with Sepultura, Soulfly, Propagandhi, The Queers, One Dimensional Man, Extrema, Linea 77, a full lenght record released in 2005 and some compilations. A new album is almost finished
Our music is a consequence of our different musical tastes, but we generally like it heavy, frantic, driving, sometimes discordant, sometimes fast, sometimes (very) slow, mostly screamed, sometimes melodic and other times growled, hopefully unpredictable but just with the right amount of moshpit-approved ignorant moments!

Siamo nati nel '98 in provincia di Lecce, abbiamo all'attivo un CD uscito nel 2005 e vari pezzi su compilations, abbiamo all'attivo più di 150 concerti tra cui due apparizioni al Salento Summer Festival (nel 2002 con Sepultura, Shelter e altri, e nel 2007 con Soulfly, Extrema e altri), due finali provinciali (2006 e 2007) e una regionale ('06) di Arezzo Wave , una data del Rock TV tour nel 2002, date di supporto a Propagandhi, The Queers, Linea 77, Extrema, One Dimensional Man, Addiction...
La nostra musica è il risultato dei nostri diversi ascolti, ma in genere ci piace pesante, drammatica, energetica, a volte dissonante, a volte veloce, a volte (molto) lenta, spesso urlata, a volte melodica e altre volte gutturale, speriamo anche poco prevedibile ma con la giusta dose di ignoranza che tanto piace nel moshpit!
