I like all kinds of movies: comedies, indies, documentaries, action flicks, ..chick flicks.., dramatic films.
But I do prefer horror. So here's quick list of films you may have heard of, some you may not, that you ought to check out. Some will frighten, some confound, the others.. well... don't blame me if you ..puke...

Die Hard: 1-4 (classic action and great lines)
Bulletproof Monk (funny; I love Chow-Yun Fat)
Snatch (by the director of lock, stock, and two smoking barrels; just downright get-sick kind of funny)
Fight Club (twisted in a good way)
I love Johnny Depp. He is an incredible character actor. ..Be sure to check him out in Sweeney Todd before it's out of theaters!.. Captain Jack Sparrow is definitely my favorite Depp character.
Another fave actor of mine who I think really deserves more attention is Nathan Fillion. Not only is he good looking, he's a great actor. He's smart and funny. He's in a new movie, White Noise 2, which looks pretty good--so rent it.
I love just about anything with Simon Pegg in it. (As long as Edgar Wright wrote it.) Shaun of the Dead is one of my top favorite films of all time.
..Television
I try not to watch a whole lot of television. If I get caught up in one show and start watching it every week it'll become two shows, then three, four... and then my days are filled with the lives of fake characters on television. And they're supposed to be filled with the lives of fake characters I write. (I know I'm predisposed to laziness, so I try to help myself out when I can.)
But some of my favorite shows to watch are:

Law & Order (any incarnation)
Monk
Dead Like Me (perhaps coming ..back.. to TV soon)
I also watch a lot of the Discovery and TLC channels--when they had interesting documentaries anyway. ..Now it seems like a lot of catering to popular interests... I mean, they show lots of educational programs. Really.
Books
I enjoy a wide variety of books and interests.

Heroes
My mother, my sister, and my stepfather for putting up with both of them on a daily basis- still love them though.
The men and women who serve our country every day- whether in the military, civil service, or just the guys who pick up my trash twice a week- they all deserve our thanks for doing the things we find ourselves unable to do.
Also my husband, who is also one of those men who serve our country in the military, (although I am fortunate that he is serving our country from home), for staying with me through thick and thin.
Also, a friend of mine from high school who died in Iraq, Lamont N. Wilson. He will be sorely missed.
And the rest of my loved ones- family and friends alike. They are all my heroes. (Mostly because they still like me! I find that amazing!)

Who I'd like to meet:
There are so many people I'd like to meet, I couldn't possibly list them all. (Mostly actors that through a strange psychosis I believe I truly understand and would greatly appreciate the chance to demonstrate that to them. Or at the very least, smell their body odor. Yeah, I'm that kind of weird.)
