Shannon and the Cannons took a little time to develop, but we think that we have finally nailed it. We started out a three piece, with out drums. Josh providing the percussion and the bass notes on his old 54' KAY doghouse bass worked, but we all knew that there was something missing. The first drummer we had was Liam Dunne. His solid timing and tasteful beats with only a snare and high hat were just what we needed, but due to other responsibilities he had to back out after only one show. You will be missed Liam. Soon you will be able to see and hear some of that show when we get this internet contraption figured out. After only a few weeks of thinking, "how are we going to find a good rockabilly drummer out here on the Oregon coast?" We are happy to say that Jeff Carden, formerly of the Swaggers is now on traps for Shannon & the Cannons. Armed with a plethora of traditional old rockabilly songs and some new originals coming soon. Shannon, Josh, Karl and Jeff will be rocking at a joint near you soon!
