Ms. Hurley is a Los Angeles singer-songwriter who was crowned one of Rolling Stone's best 25 bands on MySpace. The remix project was borne out a single piece from her debut full length album "Ready to Wake Up", in which Celeste Lear shook up her song "Breaking Down", and Shannon found that a wider audience was noticing her music. She then put out a call to remixers everywhere on sites like laptoprockers.com, ccMixter.org, and acidPLANET.com. Over 400 remixes later, she has compiled an artistic and varied collection of song interpretations, ranging from trip-hop to trance to chill-out to heavy rock.
The album is called "Second Light" and will be available VERY SOON!. An album release party is being scheduled for the fall of 2008. Stay tuned for this very special event!
