Shannon Marie Willis was born in North Bay, Ontario and grew up in the suburbs of Toronto. A singer since the tender age of six with her Grandmother, she is finally pursuing the completion of her own album "Welcome to Me" - which is a work in progress... hopeful to release in late 2011. An aspiring song writer with an edge all her own, her soulful ballads will be sure to touch the hearts of anyone who hears them. -

Influences
Shannon has been influenced by all sorts of music. Growing up on a healthy dose of top 40, disco, motown, rock and so many other genres, it was not until the age of 28 that she really took a liking to country music, but mainly with her own flair. Mainstream influences - John Mayer, Ray La Montagne, Faith Hill, Sugarland, Marvin Gaye, David Gray, James Blunt, The Dixie Chicks... the list goes on and on.... -
