I've lived in the Pacific Northwest my whole life and have wanted to be a writer since I got that A+++ on a short story written in elementary school.
I joined RWA and started writing my first romance novel in 1990, but real life got in the way, and that first book didn't get finished until 1999. It's still on the shelf collecting dust and will remain there for eternity.
After writing a second romance novel in 1999, I finally found the books I loved in the CHICK LIT genre. With my first chick lit manuscript, I got an awesome agent...and learned a lot of patience while waiting, waiting, waiting...finally selling my fifth manuscript, a paranormal humorous women's fiction book with a chick lit kick...called VENUS ENVY.
I live with my family in the Pacific Northwest where I freelance and work on my next book.
