English Translation
I want to speak to your heart
Gentle like the snow
Even the silences, you know...
Have words
After the rain and the cold
Beyond the stars and the sky
I see the good of us, flower
The sun and the sky blue on the snowfields
I would like to illuminate your soul
In the blue of your most fragile days, I will be there
Like music, like a Sunday of sun and blue sky
I want to speak to your heart
Like fresh summer water
To flower again the good of us,
Even if you don't know
I would like to illuminate your soul
In the blue of your most fragile days, I will be there
Like music, like a Sunday of sun and blue sky
I would like to free your soul
How i would, in the blue of your days, and pretend that I'm there
Like music, like a sunday of sun and blue sky
I want to speak to your heart
I want to live for you, of sun and sky blue

Shannon is a 20-year-old singer/songwriter. She mixes a clear classical tone and a powerhouse belt to create a soulful R&B sound with a Classical flare.
Born and raised in Maine Shannon began singing when she was 3-years-old. With a coffee table for a stage and a hairbrush as her mic she always knew how to perform.
By the time Shannon was 9-years-old it was apparent that singing was not going to be just another hobby. So she began to study classical voice with Diane Oxner-MacDonald the voice coach of Sarah McLachlan in her youth.
Countless hours of practice and study payed off when Shannon entered and won six vocal adjudication competitions at the age of 11. That year she went on to win the Brian Fogelson Trophy for Most Promising Junior Vocalist.
By the age of 12 Shannon was ready to record her first songs. She recorded a five track demo, including "I Know what Love Is" by Celine Dion and "Broken Wing" by Martina McBride, at Big Sound Recording Studio in Maine in just over three hours. The sound engineers called her "an engineers dream" as she was incredibly precise and expedient with the recording process.
Shannon performed at school events, local churches and fairs around Maine while attending school full-time and writing music on the side. It wasn't until she was 14-years-old that she got her first real "break".
Shannon worked with Ken Medema, singer/songwriter based out of Michigan to create "Through My Eyes" her debut album. The two co-produced the album in Michigan and it was released independently November, 1st 2004.
From the release of her album Shannon was asked to perform at such venues as the Keller Williams annual convention in Las Vegas where she gave a stunning performance of the company's new theme song to a crowd of over seven thousand.
At just 16 Shannon sang alongside award-winning actress, singer and recording artist, Liz Callaway in the Magic of Christmas Concert with the Portland Maine Symphony Orchestra. Shannon performed with Callaway for eighteen straight shows to a theatre of eighteen hundred each night.
The following spring Shannon was featured in the Good Shepherd Food Bank's fundraiser Voices of Hope at Merrill Auditorium in Portland, Maine.
The 207 news program did a TV spot on Shannon to feature the fundraiser and her accomplishments at such a young age.
Two weeks before Shannon's 17th birthday she competed against three hundred other singers in the Maine Idol competition. She performed through three rounds and came out on top as the Maine Idol decided by judge and crowd vote.
Shannon is currently studying voice performance at McGill University in Montreal, QC. She is planning on transferring to Berklee College of Music next fall where she will continue her study of voice only in a Pop/R&B style. Shannon is writing and arranging songs for her next album to be released next fall.
