I just watched the Edmund Kemper movie. They must've made it without reading a single thing about him. There's a reference to his name being "Edward," and the movie is a kind of buddy cop picture with Kemper assisting his best friend, a police detective, in tracking himself down. Very weird.
And speaking of serial killers, have you read about these guys?
I made the mistake of watching one of their snuff films. To be avoided at all costs. Still worth reading about, though. So bizarre. I doubt that all of them would have grown up to be killers were it not for the involvement of the others.
