Shannon Marie Sossamon (born October 3, 1978), better known as Shannyn Sossamon, is an American actress, musician and dancer.
• Shannyn Sossamon was born in Honolulu, Hawaii.
• She is a self-described mutt (she's Hawaiian, French, Dutch, Irish, Filipino and German)
• Shannyn loves all kinds of music, watching movies, and dancing, writing, and painting.
• Although she was born in Hawaii, she grew up in Nevada.
• Shannyn Sossamon was with her friend, who deejayed for Gwyneth Paltrow and Jack Paltrow's joint birthday party in Hollywood, when discovered by director of A KNIGHT'S TALE, on 2001.
• In 2006 she started an artistic group titled Maudegone.
• Shannyn Sossamon has 3 tattoos, including an S with a flower on her back shoulder.
• Her son, Audio Science Clayton, was born on May 29, 2003.
• She continues to study music, acting and dance.
• Shannyn Was a receptionist for her stepfather's car dealership.
• Also,she worked as a DJ in small clubs in LA.
• She worked briefly as a telemarketer for a carpet cleaning service.
