I have been described as a "unique, bluesy style country singer/songwriter". For about 7 years I've been working on perfecting my writing and developing my skills as an artist.
After years of hard work I think I may be on the verge of something amazing happening with my career! When that day comes it will be my mission to promote positive, wholesome values through music and be a good example for today's youth. I want every young girl to realize you don't have to be a beauty queen to be beautiful, though sometimes when watching MTV and VH1 it can be hard to be happy with who we are.
My motto is "just be yourself" and I am going to be a proud representative of this for everyone. I'm just a real life girl who has fought to overcome real life obstacles, and hope that someday I can help other people through the gift of music.
My current publisher in Nashville is Next Number One Music. I have had a few successes in Canada with two songs on the charts produced by Shania Twain's fiddle player, Cory Churko. The songs were recorded by the duo "Sisters". In 2001 I was a regional finalist in a competition that was Canada's version of "Nashville Star".
My latest favorite quote is something Wynonna said on Nashville Star:
"You just have to keep showing up, and wait for God to walk in the room."
