Definately my MOM!!! She has overcome soo many obstacles in her life and always perseveres regardless of what comes her way! She is the true meaning of a "Hero"!
My little brother Damien. He can look at all sides of the coin before making a judgement. Meaning, he doesn't take anything at face value...he thinks about it, then makes a non-biased opinion. He does not share judgement in the same way the rest of the human race does. I envy and love him for that. Plus, not to mention...he is my very best friend for life.
My hubby Jeff, because he has seen me at my worst and still loves me. Believe me people, if you had to deal with me at my worst you might try to pay someone to have me knocked off. Just kidding..sorta?? Plus, he has more patience than anyone I know. I can be soo pissed, sad, upset, etc and he can calm me down faster than anyone. He can also piss me off faster than anyone as well, but hey I'm really not suppose to talk about that in this section. Basically, he's the other half of me in this strange, scary, exciting, and crazy thing we call life.
Also, a few of my closest friends are my heroes for many reasons.
Cil, for her kindness, compassion and indefinite love for all human beings. I aspire to be like her more than anyone in this world besides my Mom. Cil, can tell you like it is and make you feel more love than you have ever felt in your life. She is the true meaning of love and what being a True Christian is all about.
The Misty's, well they both know why I love them. They have been like sisters to me since we were kids and we can always pick up where we left off regardless of how much time has passed.
Dianne, because of her strength to make it through anything and yet still have the kindest and most compassionate heart..she absolutely amazes me. She has been by my side through a lot of stuff and I pray that I've been a good friend to her as well. She is the true meaning of a Friend.
MJ, because of her powerful will to find happiness and not let anyone or anything get in the way of it...I envy and love her for that. She isn't afraid of taking risks and making changes. She's a powerful strong female in the highest regard.
Jason, because he has more love to give than anyone I know. He knows how to love other humans unconditionally which to me is the hardest thing to do in life. His kind heart makes me realize that there are other people in this world who do care about you as a person.
Nate, because of his honesty. He can tell you the truth and it not hurt your feelings because when he says it you know it comes from a place of love and not hate...well, that is unless he absolutely doesn't like you and that's what I love about him.
Mike, because he has made someone I love dearly (MJ) happy. His heart has helped to open her's for the first time. I will always love him for that.
Summer R., well, you know why I love you. Summer has loved me unconditionally as a sister for the past 8 yrs regardless of where we are in our lives. All we have to do is pick up the damn phone. LOL!
Stew, because he has a heart of gold and so brutally honest in a good way like Nate. He is one of the few people that can tell me like it is and get away with it without receiving bodily harm from me. LOL!
Kristie, because although she is like a little sister to me and we can drive each other crazy I admire her sheer determination for becoming more that what she was taught to be growing up by her family. We are both a lot alike in the fact that we are not going to let our past dictate our future. I have faith that she will be great at whatever she does and I love and admire her for making that happen.
