About me:
I love people... especially people from India, people who look weird, people who are misunderstood, people with tattoos, people who long for community but have never found a place to experience it...
My favorite person is my husband, Joel, who opened up my mind to understand things I never considered.
I don't use MySpace much anymore, so you can read by blog at shantijoy.blogspot.com.
Also, my husband and I are starting a church in Southeast Houston. We have a preliminary website up, if you would like to check us out - the Basilica Community.
I have 3 beautiful children. The oldest, Arabella, was born with Down Syndrome, and that makes her even more wonderful. The second, Holden, is already a deep thinking man at the ripe old age of 2. The third is the bonus - Darin came to us by divine intervention (aka adoption) last summer. He was due at the end of July, but born in early June, so he is a premie. He also has Down Syndrome, which is why we picked him!
