About me: Shaped - a documentary film about Southern California surfing.
This documentary film will pay tribute to the men and women of the surf world that were there in the 1960s, working in the trenches, creating and un-knowingly shaping the future of surfing as we know it today. Using stories told by; Corky Carroll, Bill Meistrell, Bob Meistrell, Mimi Munro, Dick Metz, Jesse Billauer, Jim Kempton, Steve Pezman, Bing Copeland, Linda Benson, Denny Aaberg, Mike Doyle, Mickey Munoz, Bruce Brown, Dana Brown, Joyce Hoffman, Jim, Driver, Danny Brawner, Jeff Alter, Terry Martin, Gary Larson, Randy French, Bill Stewart, Bill Hamalton, Tom Morey, Donna Frye, Rusty Preisendorfer, Skip Frye, Pat O’Connell, and more, our guide Wingnut (The Endless Summer II) will explore this time in American history. This handful of influential innovators had no idea at the time how their work would change the lives of millions of people through their innovative thinking and commitment to their craft.
