| Influences | Mr. "Dave" Bowie, "Dave" the dog, Sammy "Dave"-is Jr., QOTSA, The Cure, Nirvana, Turbonegro, Mr. Marc Bolan, Gram Parsons, Guided By Voices, Don Knotts, Mitch Hedberg, simpsons/familyguy (duh!), the Dead Boys, oh and the song "across the universe" by Mr. John Lennon, o.k. and "Real Love" and "Free As a Bird", oh, and then "Mother" and "Julia" and his part of "A Day in the Life". of course john fante, chuck buk., ray chandler, and dostoyevsky are the writers these guys talk about when they're not starting fires, and, if i'm really gonna tell u all about SRC's influences, i should mention that dylan, the guy who writes the songs, has got a not so tiny thing for patricia arquette (in "True Romance..) and, even though they've never seen her live, they're pretty sure they want to meet Karen O from the yeah, yeah, yeahs.
