As some of you know, our infamous mom van bit the dust last December and we are currently vehicle-less. If you would like to see us play in your city again, won't you consider donating towards the Shapiro van fund? We'll love you like the rock of ages!

Shapiro formed in the 2003 in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The band consists of brothers John (drums & bgvs) and Nathan Granofsky (guitar & bgvs); Jeremy Teter (vocals, piano), cousin of the Granofsky brothers; and Carl Shapiro (bass), from whom the group’s name is derived. Their music is an infectious style of indie pop, reflecting the guys’ love of both classic rock and newer indie rock. They want to be your friend.

Hey guys, just wanted to stop in and say Hi. I hate to say this, as us playing a show together seems to be cursed, but if you're ever in Ohio again and want to play a show together let me know as I finally got my shit together! I pop in occasionally to listen to you guys. L.E.A.V.I.N.G. may be one of the greatest melodies in rock history, and on that I am 100% serious.
Just got my album. Love the changes you made. Some of my favorites had new life breathed into them. We're looking to do something similar with our album so it's kinda funny. When you have good songs, why let them slip away? All my best wishes to you guys.
