I graduated from UCF in the Fall of 06 with a degree in Advertising and Public Relations. I also have minors in Studio Art (specializing in painting), and in Marketing.
I guess you can consider me a concert junkie. I LOVE live music, and Sister Hazel is my all-time favorite band. I've been to about 60-70+(ish?) of their concerts so far, including some in a few other states, as well as The Rock Boat '04, VI, VII, VIII - and will soon be booked for TRB Niner! (The Rock Boat is a concert cruise). I love the live shows, but I think hanging out with all the people there and meeting new friends is definitely the thing that keeps me coming back for more. ;-) Many of my best friends in the world are the people I've met through music.
And now, a bunch of random stuff... I try to make a little extra money by selling my artwork (www.shapoka.com). The website is under major construction by the way, so enter at your own risk. As far as jobs go, I've done everything from working in restaurants to retail to watching the killer whales at SeaWorld ;-). Right now I am working in SeaWorld's Brand Marketing Dept.
And even more random stuff... My most prized possession is my autographed cd collection, which is pretty big considering I started it not too long ago (it consists of more than 100 cds, and is growing all the time). I love the Harry Potter books, and even though I've read them multiple times, I just can't get enough. My favorite movie is Disney's The Lion King, and killer whales and lions are the coolest animals ever in my humble opinion. ;) I love lots of color on everything. White walls scare me - if you step inside the front door of my house, every wall is a different color, and that's how I like it. I hate listening to radio stations because they play crappy music. I say the phrase "you guys" way too much, though I'm trying to stop. Ice cream is my favorite food, and always has been. But not chocolate ice cream - just ice cream with chocolate stuff IN it. My favorite colors tend to be blues/and 'cooler' colors, yet I tend to wear the opposite - very bright, 'warm' colors. I love fireworks shows, especially when they're set to music. I HATE cherries, mangos, knives, and that really high pitched scratchy noise that happens when people rub their fingernails on that bumpy plastic material that they use for lenticular images. You know, those things that look different depending on the angle. Oh, and I'm one of those people who is ALWAYS cold.
I got married in July of 06 and am lovin' it! We live in a pink house with 2 kitties ~ Stitch and Reuben.
So I didnt realize you get comments from Green River Ordinance...im coming to Orlando May 10-15...mite make a stop to Sea World..I think i know someone who works there..HAHA

So yeah.... I have an f'd ankle that I can't walk on AND tonsilitis on my birthday.... WTF rite? Poor Scott is running 102 fever and is having to drag my ass around. Fun times :-S
It was about as festive as I was getting. Loved shopping with you the other day; can't wait for our Millenia mall trip. Have a safe trip back and look forward to seeing you on Monday. :)
Hey!! I asked Lolo about the trivia & she said that we were the only ones who ever showed up. :( I guess we'll retire as the champions. :-)
Lindsey McDole (she's one of my roomies this year) asked me what I was doing in port this year & I told her I wasn't sure, but it would be with Matt & Jen. :-) We'll all have to do something together. Esp. in Nassau since there's nothing official planned.
I'm not worried about it, help yourself. I'm thinking about seeing if I can sell some of my vacation days back to pay for medical next year instead of taking 2 weeks off work. Plus, I have this fear of people screaming that their budgets weren't closed properly.
We had so much fun at EPCOT last weekend! We'll definitely have to plan something similar again real soon! I've added some pics and the wonderful "end of the night" video to my page :-)
Oh no you didn't...HSM3 for POL Halloween party? I was just peeing my pants laughing so hard. I am SOOOO upset I missed that.. Seriously... classic.
ATL is going well. It's in the 30's here today - freeezing. But I love working in the city. It's fun.. I still really miss POL :( I am going to call you guys soon and really fill you in.
