sharcactus is a one man project, open for everybody to collaborate with. driven by beats and basslines, sometimes voice, being generated in ways, that i sometimes can´t even remember. it´s sometimes soft, then hard, regarding your point of view.
without the possibility to process analog data digitally (even accidentally) the world would NOT be the same.
since i´m always searching for sound snippets, that give me the chills (literally) i find quite a lot of them. what happens to them? how do they (r)evolve? do they bear any hidden information? beats? whatever?
we (re)generate as well as the sounds around us do.
starting out as a punk bassist, singer, part-time-drummer, playing in bands for several years, performing live in clubs and venues of several sizes i finally discovered the advantage of not to waste time in smelly rehearsal rooms :)), so i started to waste time @ the processor.
