We're a Limerick/Galway based metal band
Shardborne first started in october of 04, when Eoin and Ciaran Culhane(Yes, twins), on bass and guitar, met Ben Wanders(drums). After nearly a year of playing covers and doing a few gigs, we parted ways with the singer. Eoin moved permanently to co-guitar with ciaran and started working on original material.
A new line-up was formed and we did our first few gigs with our own songs. We had some trouble keeping a stable band together, going through numerous singers and bass players. We kept going throughout this.
Eventually we turned to a friend, Diarmaid, to handle the Vocal duties. We are constantly writing songs and in 08 we made a recording to demo several of our own, and these are on the page to listen to.
We're always looking for gigs and are willing to play all around the country. If we are playing near you, come check our set and have some craic at the gig! World Visitor Map
