| About SHARKYS MACHINE (REUNION SHOW SUMMER ’09) |

Sharkys Machine began as a dare in the summer of "Before You Were Born" between Chuck Rock, Markus Misery, & Joe Vega$. Misery & Vegas told Rock he couldn't write 2 songs in 5 minutes. 5 Minutes later were the 1st Sharky's Machine songs of Garcia Vega & Human Head off their sporadically released Content To Be A Jerk. Rock, Misery, & Vega$ continued many years that way and then released This Way in 1997. In 1998 they acquired Mikey Hooligan from Exit 123. In 2000 they released the aptly named Drunks Like Us. Late 2000 saw the departure of Joe Vega$ and the acquirement of Keith. The year 2001 saw the departure of Misery and the band forged on as a 3 piece until 2003 when they recorded Roughs. Keith left soon after and the album was never released. Mike Saints, Wes, and Jordan joined the band in 2003 and later that year Wes & Saints left the band. Rock, Hooligan, and Jordan finished out 2003 and Sharkys Machine ran out of fuel.
After a 3 year hiatus Sharkys Machine reunited in the summer of 2006 with founding members Chuck Rock and Joe Vega$, Mikey Hooligan and Mike Saints. Summer rehearsals were followed by their 1st performances back at the Brighton Bar and Festival of The Dead 9.
The band has been busy preparing new material for a new album to be released in 2007 with an onslaught of merchandise to be made available.
For those who have never heard Sharkys, it was put best as "Blending the best elements of Rock And Roll, with an upbeat Punk-Type of feel. It's all about booze, parties, hot rods, and broads! Rock And Roll should be fun, and Sharkys delivers!. Thx for the years of support fuckers...
