She has the legs of Tina Turner, the stage presence of Beyonce, the writing skills of Aretha Franklin and the sultry attitude of Sade. Sharon Brooks defines today's trendsetting independent artist. Her life long passion of music has led her to working with acts like Deborah Cox, Bernard Purdie, Martha Wash, Omar, Jonas and many more.
A transplant from the beautiful island of Barbados, Sharon has been an international voice for several years. Her music has taken her to living and performing in Canada, China, Australia, Morocco, throughout the Caribbean and more. She has collaborated with major artists like Jean Leloup and Mark Berube as a vocal arranger, and continues to pen her own creations, including two released albums “A Taste of Life” & “Defining Me”, and is currently completing her third “Black Rock”.
