I am influenced by alcohol at times....BUT SERIOUSLY FOLKS!
I think I'm influenced by every person that comes into my life. No matter how short that time may be. The day I realized not everybody in the world likes me was a bit tramatizing at first but then I started to appreciate it. You're nobody 'til somebody hate you! Isn't that a Dean Martin song? Which is why I cherish my friends and/or the people who put up with me.
As far as other influences go, I was inspired to drum by Buddy Rich, John Bonham, Alex Van Halen, Tommy Lee, Rikki Rockett and Neal Peart. Although I put them in two different catagories....
Drummers that inspire me to play...John Bonham, Tommy Lee and Rikki Rockett.
Drummers that inspire me to quit...Neal Peart and Buddy Rich! Heck, Buddy is a better drummer dead then 75% of the drummers out there TODAY!
My radio influence came from WKRP In Cincinatti. I always wanted to be Dr. Johny Fever. But the radio business portrayed on WKRP is not even close to the way the real workings of a radio station are. So don't go joining the ARMY 'cause you liked M*A*S*H!
