Sharp Tooth Benny completed their 1st CD release with Irie Member Records entitled, "Slinky Sounds For Reptilian Lovers".
"Slinky Sounds For Reptilian Lovers", is a self produced, nine song original CD. There's something for just about everyone on this CD as you'll find the songs cover a lot of musical ground in a short time. You'll hear songs about Reptiles & Fish, Women and a Wish, Livin' a life that's forbode and movin' on down the road! From straight Blues to heavier Rock tunes and a few stops in between, you'll find the journey is sweet! A very diverse group of musicians & friends have joined together to form this band. Sharp Tooth Benny seems willing & able to fill a void our music world has been feeling.

Sharp Tooth Benny consists of former Saints We Ain't drummer and Sizzle front man, Mike McLaury, now belting out lead vocals and groovin on rhythm guitar. There's also fellow songwriter, Terry "Phat B" Sheppard, previously of Dr. Joy, who provides some truly solid bass lines while filling out the vocal harmonies. Well versed former Saints We Aint axe-slinger, "Little Man" Tate Sanderson wails on lead guitar, and talented newcomer Noah "Boom Boom" Bloom keeps things moving on drums/percussion. Special guest appearances are also made on a couple tunes by the incredible, Tim "The Teacher" Fennel of Motus on lead guitar. Mike, Terry and Noah provide a rocking musical foundation to stand on while Tate & Tim fill the grooves with some tasteful yet smokin' leads.
While staying true to some proven blues-rock principles with sure-to-be hits like, "Cadillac" , "I Never Thought", "The Game" and "Looker", Sharp Tooth Benny has also been able to branch out and include some distinct new musical stylings of their own on "Sinky Sounds for Reptilian Lovers"
with heavier rockers like, "Little Fishy", "Big Green Lizard", "Everything Girl" and other crowd favorites like "Devil for You" and "Mirror".
The boys have also forged a true classic you can't help but sing along to with "Truth/Lies/Hate/Love". A well written song that features some advice provided over a hauntingly hummable melody. This type of musical diversity gives the band a truly eclectic appeal that gratifies their audiences and will satisfy you too, especially if you've been looking for something different in a blues-rock band.

These guys really love to have fun and while the band is primarily blues based and buy now you can imagine the live-shows exhibit an unusual amount of energy and crowds are often treated to a bit of improv, interesting song selections and some crazy shenanigans. Most of Sharp Tooth Benny is currently based in Southern California while band founder, Mike McLaury now resides in Golden, Co. and is working online with Phat B on more material for the next CD.
