Hello my name is Shane Hartline, I'm 22 years old and I live in Winter Haven, FL! I perform weekly Improv Skits, Host a Live Internet Webshow called "Wooden Steel LIVE!" every Thursday Night at 10PM, I own my very own Video Production Company "Wooden Steel Productions LLC", and am a working actor around the state of Florida. I'm an official Member of the SAK "Lab Rats" Comedy Troupe in Orlando, FL and a SAK Comedy Lab Alumni, I've also taken Improv classes at Comedy Buffett in Winter Haven, FL.
I've worked with networks 101onDirecTV, CBS, NBC, MTV and been in various other television and film projects. In February 2008 I won the Big Shot Live National Acting Competition and was sent to Hollywood to film an episode for their TV Show. I've been in talks with shows such as The Tonight Show w/ Jay Leno, Total Request Live, and interviewed/performed on radio programs such as The Monsters in the Morning (Real Radio 104.1), The Buckethead Show (Real Rock 101.1) here in Florida, and was a part of Sundance Film Award Winning Feature Film "Grace is Gone" starring John Cusack. I've also created my very own website www.SNLorBUST.com with a petition trying to get myself an SNL Audition in a different way. The website has generated a lot of local and national attention via newspapers, websites and radio programs. In the Summer of 2008 I created a project called "Skittin Across America" which is a nationwide Roadtrip DVD my sketch group and I filmed for charity and we had the opportunity to meet and work with stars such as Will Sasso, Raab Himself, Jess Margera, Brian Huskey and Much more! At the age of 16 I started training to become a Pro Wrestler, at the time it was all I wanted to do. I started wrestling all around the state of Florida at age 17 as the crazy surfer "Rip Malibu" and at age 22 I won the FSPW Florida State Title. I had many great matches against the likes of "The Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko, TNA Superstar Shark Boy, Tough Enough Stars Kenny King and Hawk, and MANY MANY MORE wrestlers over the many years in wrestling. I also was honored to train in the ring with the likes of WWE Superstar Spanky, Jamie Knoble, Matt Bentley, and "Team 3D" The Dudley Brothers. Rip Malibu can occasionally be seen making a return in the state of Florida but I've decided to put my focus on my true passions, and that is acting and comedy.
