About me:
We are meeting Tuesday November 11th to cook chili for the Shasta College Chili Cook-off. If you are interested please contact me at summerclovers@yahoo.com.
Our next meeting is Thursday November 20, 2008 from 2:00-4:00 pm in Room 2068 (2nd floor in the cafeteria). If you are interested in joining our club, please plan to attend our meeting or write to us.

3RD Annual NATIVE DAY 2008
When: TO BE ANNOUNCED
Where: Shasta college Campus
The N.A.T.I.V.E. Club will be hosting 4th annual "Native Day." We will have drummers, story tellers, vendors selling Native American items. We will be having another drawing to raise money for our Native American Scholarships.
Our Shasta College Graduation Water Sales Fundraiser
When: Graduation ceremony 2009
Where: Shasta College Football Field
We will be selling bottle water and more at the Shasta College Graduation to raise money for our club.
Native American Graduation Ceremony
When: June 2009 and the Date and Time are to be Announced
Where: Win River Casinos Eagle Room
We will be awarding out N.A.T.I.V.E. Club scholarships at this time and be recognizing some of our members. High school and college students from Shasta County will also be recognized this day.

Who I'd like to meet:
N.A.T.I.V.E. Club stands for Native American Tradition In Valued Education. The N.A.T.I.V.E. Club is designed to support and encourage Shasta College students by providing services to aid federaly recognized and unrecognized Native American students attending Shasta College.
Our club offered a Native American Scholarship program every year for the past three years. Up to five scholarships are presented to Native American college students who are active in our local Native American community. The amount of the scholarship depends on the amount of money we have raised during the school year.
All of the programs we offer are solely financed by our club fundraising.
