About me:
Shattered Mirrors is a fantasy wolf roleplay hosted on ProBoards. It can be found at www.flatmoose2.proboards78.com. Founded in 2004(?) by Luna, SM has been through many "homes" on the internet, but due to the sense of community that spurs SM through hard times, the "spirit" of the site has always been a recognizable trait.
Currently run by a dedicated group of admins (Shadow (the head admin), Index, Demonbane and Nighta (Ni's the one that runs this Myspace)) and moderators (Kira, Fudge and Niosha). It is pretty much a given that a staff member will be on at least once a day to keep their eye on the site, as SM does its best to synchronize all of the schedules of both the staff and the members.
Unique aspects of Shattered Mirrors are many, although most notably: Our brand-new Youtube account (http://youtube.com/user/ShatteredMirrorsRPG), a wolf "vocabulary", and of course, this Myspace.

It is a given that when a Crae (Alpha femme) dies, the leadership of her pack is handed over to one of her children. For Luansir (The land in which SM takes place in) the options were fairly limited - Zainabu or Ehros would take the place of Luna as the Cro (Alpha male) or Crae of Black Crater pack. After much deliberation, it was decided that Ehros would lead, so Zain could continue on her path to being a healer. That was the fatal mistake.
Ehros took to the alpha position like a moth to a flame. He created a "Law Enforcement Squad" (Which has since been debunked, it would seem), took over much of the neutral terra, and banished the Kayr (Beta) of the pack, Shadow, to the outer regions of Luansir.
It couldn't have happened at a better time. Luansir was just beginning to settle down after a war between the "old" Black Crater and Blackshade's Army. The old members of the army were either leaving Luansir, becoming Loners or finding their place in Black Crater. Things were getting boring. Predictable. Vura (wolves) in Luansir don't like it when things settle down. They thrive on excitment
So when Shadow was banished, Luansir was thrown into an uproar. A time when tensions and emotions were running high and things were twisted more so than they had ever been in the past. Some of Shadow's oldest and most loyal friends left Black Crater, the pack that many had been in since the beginning, to join and support him. Some ex-Army vura joined Shadow, only because they loved opposing Black Crater. Thus, Shadow's Rogues came to be. Some other ex-Army vura joined Black Crater, only to fight those that they had always been fighting. Some stayed with Black Crater, because it was the only pack they knew and they weren't fond of change.
Just when it seemed as if things couldn't be getting much more chaotic, a blizzard hit Luansir. Both the packs fled to a series of caverns below the desert, seeking shelter from the storm. Unfortunately, the caverns below the desert weren't separated. They were all connected. Soon the packs were all trapped underground together as they awaited Caut (spring) and the melting of the snows that had kept them trapped in such an uncomfortable situation. Tensions ran high.
Outside of the caves, a group of elder vura awaited Caut in the Mystic Valley. These vura were too old for seeking shelter, or had gotten lost behind the packs as they made their way to the caves. As time went by, the vura caught in the Valley got over their differences, realizing that they were all far too old for holding grudges, at least when survival was the only thing they all wanted. These trapped elders met with the new vura making their way into Luansir, and as the nights went on, told stories, painting a picture of the olden glory days, when all of the land seemed to make sense.
So now, with the blizzard finally over and done with, and both the packs free, there are only two questions in the mind of the vura of Luansir.
1. How much longer until yet another war starts?
2. Will Luansir ever be returned to its former glory?
Only time will tell. Only time.
