Shattered Tone was formed by Dave Fletcher in February of 2003. They are an original rock group, based out of Vernon, British Columbia, Canada. The band performs mostly their original material, as well as some covers from other artists including: Metallica, Ozzy Ozbourne, Loverboy and more.
Lead singer and musician, David Fletcher wrote the songs for the band's first demo, which was recorded at Hunter Audio in Kelowna, BC. Late in 2005, the band completed filming a music video for one of the songs off of their demo, "I'm No Follower". A new recording of this song will be available soon.
The video was produced, directed and filmed by Sam Wolka and Cassy Jurome of "Lost Ministry Films" of Kelowna, BC. The official video release was December 7, 2005 at Monashee's Bar and Grill in Vernon, BC.
The video was then submitted to Much Music for consideration. A week later, the band was contacted by a Much Music representative and informed that their video was reviewed and was approved for play on their various video programs such as, Going Coastal, Power Hour and Untitled. The video is currently in active video rotation on Much Music. Be sure to check it out.....review your local television listings for program schedules. The Video for I'M no Follower recieved a nomination for a Crosswood Peoples Choice Award at the 2006 Okanagan Video Awards.
In August of 2005, Shattered Tone also arranged and hosted a local charity fundraising event called "Miracles Start With You". The fundraiser featured performances by Shattered Tone and four other local bands, who joined them in this worthwhile cause. The event was held at the Vernon Performing Arts Centre and raised money for two children's charities; the Children's Wish Foundation and Big Brothers and Sisters. The fundraiser was such a great success, they have decided to make this an annual event. The 3rd annual scheduled fundraiser is planned for November 3, 2007. Listen for more info on Sun FM 105.7, as well as local newspapers, etc.
Most recently the song "Without You" is Receiving airplay on Edmonton's 100.3 FM the Bear, is in one of the top five most requested songs, is also played on Sirius Sattelite radio, High Octane Radio in Lubbock Texas, and the Onda Salvage Radio show , Mislanta 92.4 Fm in Spain.

Hi there Shattered Tone first of all we'd like to say thanks for being our myspace pal. We wanted to make sure you knew the reason incase we suddenly vanish off of your friends list. The movement we've started for indie artists has grown significantly and consumes all of our time these days. We seldom sign into our myspace account and this is making several people believe that we are ignoring them. We are not ignoring anyone, we wanted everyone to know that. What we're doing has become so busy we just don't have the time for myspace any longer, so in all honesty we are probably going to just close our myspace account.
Many people wanted to use us in the future so if you were one of those people make sure you bookmark the link below so that in the event that we do close our myspace account you won't lose contact with us. I wish you the best of luck in your music career. Thanks again for being our myspace pal.
We have also built a pretty big music community which you are welcome to join if you want to meet new artists like yourself!
Who would pay 4K an hour for that??? yeah, we were thinking the same thing! This week the bashers catch up on recent events and get as honest as possible. They also pay their respects to the late & great Arthur C. Clarke and figure out the differences between American English and the real thing.
