Born in the rain-drenched summer of 2003, Shatterpoint is a 4-piece hard rock band from Long Island, NY. By mixing thick guitar riffs, moody bass lines, head bobbing beats, and complex vocal schemes that range from soothing to destructive, Shatterpoint produces full on force of power that can best be described as “melodic metal“.
Less than a year after forming, Shatterpoint has recorded their debut album, No Rest in This State of Mind… These 10 tracks demonstrate an ability to explore a wide range of emotions as well as there passion to create a variety of different and unique songs. Their songwriting is undeniably displayed from how different each song seems to be.
Even before hitting the studio, Shatterpoint’s following has grown rapidly via word of mouth stemming from their intense, energetic, and all out live shows. Whether or not you have ever seen them play, be prepared to have your eyes and ears opened after listening to this band.
