shatter records: what we do
Shatter Records is primarily an artist development and promotional company who in the past two years has brought it's artists to major labels including Maverick, Sony, Epic and Universal.
Our team of knowledgeable and experienced industry professionals are revolutionizing the music management/promotion business with a no nonsense approach to artist development. We work exclusively with artists we believe will make it, and will work hard to help give them that chance.
We are a modern, dedicated, and well-connected company that can help provides chosen bands and solo artists with the missing pieces required to be desirable signings for major labels.
We have provided assistance in tour planning, video production, image polishing, radio promotion, label representation, etc. The list goes on.
At this time, we are only accepting artist submissions exclusively through SonicBids.com.

Indie A&R Firm launches ground-breaking new division, Spring 2008.
A modern and well-connected new channel within the ever-changing climate of the music industry, Shatter Records will begin allowing a few select bands and artists to hire their accomplished marketing team. This new division will work with these arists and bands to give their promotional materials (band biographies, press releases, demos, promotional photography, website copy, etc.) the industry polish.
"So many acts have the goods, but the way that they are being perceived by the industry, based on their lackluster or sometimes downright bad promotional materials, is robbing them of their chance to get that music heard."
Services that the new division will be offering in various packages include a review of band demo quality, promotional photography, marketing strategies, project art direction, and all manner of promotional copy. In an industry where presentation is everything, this cutting-edge new service will bring industry know-how to unknown, talented up-and-coming acts.
"What these select acts will be getting is absolutely unheard of within the industry. It's a no contract way to access the knowledge and experience of music marketing and publicity professionals. We'll only be working with acts that we have a strong feeling about, and based on the package that the artist selects, we can help review and fine tune every piece of promotional materials they have...right down to the music itself."
While the division won't officially launch until May 2008, the company will begin preliminary work with bands through exclusive advance announcements on Myspace.com.
