Through the cut throat storm of "heavy" music "Shatter The Reason" destroys all borders between genres of rock. Formed in March of 2005, they are a five piece powerhouse consisting of Sean Northup (Vocals), Jason Briant (Guitars), Jeff Northup (Bass), Byron LaPola (Drums) and newest addition Tom C. (Guitars). After many projects that seemed stagnant, or cut short, the members all hailing from different types of influence, came together with the same ambitions and through this union created Shatter the Reason, the most infectious blend of metal, hardcore, punk, and rock to never leave your head. After just four months of being solidified, they released a 5 song E.P. independently, selling OVER 1000 copies, and since then, have played numerous venues throughout the East Coast. The live show is truly an energy packed sight to be seen, and an experience you won't soon forget, capturing the attention of all that attend. Currently Shatter The Reason has hit the studio once again to begin work on their first full length release, "The Hostile Takeover," expected to be released in early spring of 2008.
