Sounds Like
I was described as "a cross between Jimmy Chamberlain and Neil Peart" by some former band-mates but I think I sound more like a cross between Jimmy Chamberlain, Scott Rockenfield, and Mark O’Connell from Taking Back Sunday if you were to ask me (with some Bonham influence thrown in there of course)…
I have been told that I have a "POWERFUL SOUND" and that I am a "HARD HITTER" behind the drums...I feel that all of my influences come out in my playing. Keeping good time and using dynamics are always important as well as HAVING FUN...I PLAY "WIDE OPEN" AND I DON'T USE ANY TAPE OR MUFFLING, PERIOD...I PLAY SJC CUSTOM DRUMS, ZILDJIAN CYMBALS, DW PEDALS, AND TAMA HARDWARE.
I grew up in the Suburbs north of Boston Massachusetts. I have been playing drums since I was a kid and I love everything about drumming and music! Some of my previous Boston based bands include: URCHIN, PARADISE ALLEY, PLAY ROUGH, PETER AND THE WOLF, BUSTA BAZOO, LAST LAUGH, CRASH AND THE CRASHTONES, FOR PETES SAKE, MF LAW, MONKEYPOX, MOLASSES FLOOD, BROKEN, HOT N BOTHERED, THE DAVE CLARK BAND, and recording the songs featured here with the help of singer/songwriter Zac MacIntyre on the keyboards.
2008 was a busy year, I was working with several different projects, including:
SIGNALS FROM SATELLITES (formerly Proval), THE SEMIS, MENERVA REALM, and THE CRASH MITCHELL FIVE........Since coming back home to New England in the fall I have been chilling and enjoying the time off, but I am always interested in new projects or just jamming for fun! My dream has always been to own my own Drum Shop one day and make/buy/sell/trade/repair Drums and teach. Peace, and be well my friends...
