I have been kicking about the yorkshire music scene for more years than I care to admit to, but came out of it all about 15 or so years ago.
Always kept a guitar around the place and was bullied into picking it up again about a year or so back by 2 of my bestest friends (and family members) Gerry and Ani McNeice who also talked me into performing again.
So during the last 2 years i have been attending a few sesions/singarounds in local pubs, and doing floor spots at Otley folk club where I have met some very good people and had some great fun.
Also done a couple of gigs in local pubs, and 2 shows at the 2007 Otley folk festival (thanks Steve)
It has to be FUN, otherwise it wouldn't be called "PLAYING"
At the moment I'm busy working on some new songs with my partner Paul Barratt who has a show of his own coming up (watch his space)
HUGE THANKS TO ANI for the pics and the video xxxx, She just gets better and better
Shaun I know who you are now. You really must get ovet the border and give us Cleckheaton. (every Thursday, Station Hotel, Earby. Be good to see you. Andy.
Thankyou very much sir : ) I had a fantastic night-both gigs were really good for me-but that's in no small part due to the audience-overwhelming so it was...
Thanks for the add. Nice songs last night - I know exactly who to play "She's Got Class" for. I know all the punchlines, but it's still funny each time. Cheers Den

Venue details:

All ages welcome
Thanks for coming through last night, it was lovely to meet you.
Sorry it wasn't what you were expecting, if I'd known you were coming I'd have explained about the "Paul" gigs. Hope you enjoyed it anyway, I got some great comments from the crowd.
I told Paul that you sing Cleckheaton over there & he said we should have done it for you. I didn't ask him last night because we don't usually do my songs in those gigs. Shame though, you could have got up with me at the mic.
Hee Hee!! It made me laugh!! Thanks for putting in the request-I feel it was better to go out with "Traveller's Jingle" thatn "Wasted Time" in retrospect : )
