So I'm driving downtown to eat at Spaghetiti Warehouse and I just noticed on one of the buildings in the Brady District it says BED CHECK real big!!! Thought of Jan.... those random thoughts are always very cool. Those are the moments that are great to pause a sec, close your eyes, take a deep breath and enjoy.

Wanted to let you know I am thinking of you and praying for you all this holiday season..... I'm sure Jan is on the air playing the favorites for the holiday season in Radio Heaven. Happy Holidays and God bless you.

today my heart is in great sorrow because you arent here. i love you so much and i cant believe that you are gone. i miss you more then words could ever express. i just needed some place to come and say i love you and this seemed like the place. i love you jan xoxoxoxoxo

First you were my boss then you were my best friend. It's hard to imaging I would meet the sister I never knew i had in Tulsa. Thanks God for that and you. You helped me through some hard times Janie. you also made me laugh harder then I have ever laughed. You are my soul mate. I truly believe that. I know you know how much I love you. you made me a better person. i miss you so much Jan.

I just heard the sad, sad news! Jan was so special to me and my family My kids loved her as much as I did. My prayers are with you, Debby and Paige - what God-sends! and Jan's parents. Heaven has a new angel and the World is missing one! BJ Kissinger

Jan was a phenomenal person. Anyone who had the opportunity to get to know her was truly blessed.

I grew up listening to Jan who inspired me from my small town (Barnsdall), to get into radio. Which I did and was fortunate to have some amazing jobs in.

I loved her voice and how she and only she said "muuusic."

I never met Jan and she has been on my mind so often during her illness. It was only today that I searched for her on "myspace" I think it was kind of a cosmic broadcast from heaven to let me know of her passing.

A few years ago (January 04) while moving from OKC to Denver to my military duty station, I rediscovered her perky voice on the radio of my Uhaul. I felt compelled to call and leave her a little voice mail telling her of my appreciation for her personality and talent.

I am sure Jan and her family are receiving many support full prayers and well wishes of those she spoke to, and who admired her from a distance, through the airwaves of Tulsa radio.

I believe the definition of love is someone special enough to make YOU want to be a better person. Serene said it well on her blog...if you had the honor of knowing this special person, our special Jan-o, she made you feel like being a better person. While you are finally in peace Jan, you are missed beyond belief...I pray your soul meets my mother's...RIP beautiful Jan.

She profoundly touched, moved, and inspired everyone around her. Thank you Jan for your love and your influence.
