Sounds Like
Nothing out there sounds like James, due to the amount of derversification in his music, he simply sounds like a little bit of everybody blended together.
James started teaching himself to play music when he was 5 years old, on his aunts old beat up piano. He started writing lyrics when he was 12. There is a natural musical gift that runs in his families blood line. His Grandfather, whom he was named after, was the Illinois State Champion Fiddle Player in the 50's. James has followed suit, not only did he teach himself to play piano, lead guitar, rhythm guitar, bass guitar, drums, Congo's, harmonica, and the list goes on, he is also one of the finest song writers to ever put a pen to paper on behalf of love, or the loss of it, family, and the everyday life styles we all have come to recognize.
James has now recorded 6 Cd's, 4 released with two awaiting release. He has written over 200 plus song's and has single handily produced all 6 Cd's. Of which he did all writing, music instrumentation, vocal performance and technical recording, utilizing the multi-track recording method in the SHAWJAMZ RECORDING STUDIO. I believe you will find the diversification of his music from album to album to be a journal of his vast talents.
James is a very modest individual who represents the best that people aspire to be. He is one of the finest people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Always putting others before himself. As you listen to his music, you can feel the passion of his heart & soul coming through loud and clear. His music touches upon the everyday feelings we all pass through along the long journey of life. Written with respectful admiration. Bonnie R.
