Influences
I'm not going to talk in the third person and try to make it sound like what it's not. My grandma always told me "if I had money I'd put you on a big stage". She was my best friend and I promised her I would always try, because she knew singing and making music was my heart. When I found God, I realized that with him I could be stopped by nothing. So I am wishin' on a star and singing my way to Nashville. I am not going to stop until we land a record deal.

"Well nobody told me to do this, I just love song, voice and a good old-fashioned harmony and that’s the way God made me. Growing up dodging flying fishin' bobber bombs and ketchup-covered dog food feedings, I found out what a good fight was all about early on. I don’t promote our music or the bad ass band I’ve been blessed with because I think we’re better than any of the other talented and beautiful artists out there. I promote, push and sing my butt off every day because it’s my heart and where I feel I am supposed to be".
Shawna Lynn's grandpa toured and was very close friends with Western Swing Legend, Bob Wills. "I was probably born with it in my blood. Growing up listening to Merle Haggard, Ricky Skaggs, Hank Williams, and Dolly Parton has had a major influence on the sound we've incorporated into our modern country-rock".
We have been very blessed in the country music world opening for major head-liners such as JOSH TURNER, JASON ALDEAN, JAMES OTTO and THE NAKED COWBOY. We are keeping our fingers crossed that things keep going this way until we get on to mainstream radio. With other great experiences such as being established with William Morris, Nashville, opening for headliners at the world famous WildHorse Saloon, to co-writing music in the famed Jeffrey Steele Studio 330 we keep praying a major break is right around the corner.
