Shawn Baran the person: I am singer/songwriter living in Calgary. I started playing music for reals when I was 15 - I wanted to be like Eddie Van Halen. I now sound nothing like Eddie Van Halen.
Shawn Baran the band: Although I often play acoustic, when I can, I like to have my band with me. My band consists of Sara Baran (vocals, wife), Brett Ashton (bass, vocals), and Nicolai Drost (drums).
