S(p)TD is musician, Studio Recording Engineer and producer based near Cleveland Ohio. Working across a range of genres and styles such as Punk, Metal, Alt-Rock, Hip-Hop, & Country.
Growing up with a father who spent 10yrs as a touring musician with acts like CSNY & Three Dog Night, S(p)TD found himself at home in front of a microphone & mixing console at the age of 13. When he turned 14, S(p)TD bought his first bass guitar- leading him to a half-dozen or so High School projects as well as a spot in the Jazz Band. In 1995 S(p)TD moved to Hawaii finding a new start as the Guitarist for the 90's Iconic Punk band "33inch Mickeys" , who were considered to many great pioneers of the Hawaii Punk Rock Scene. With the Mickeys, S(p)TD's earliest guitar and production work can be found. The 33inch Mickeys can still be found on "The Hawaiian Style Punk Compilation series" as well as the soundtracks for a few Jack Johnson-directed surf Videos. Spending the next 4 yrs in studios with bands in Japan, California, and Hawaii, S(p)TD found his way back to Ohio to run the family environmental company. Back at home he was recruited as a roadie for "Backbeat..A Tribute" ,balancing the family biz and traveling all over the United States Mixing sound and tweaking the vintage gear that makes Backbeat the premier Beatles Tribute to this day. In 2006 S(p)TD (back as a bassist) helped lead the band "Poormercy" to a 4-song EP and a spot as finalists for the Fuse Network's "Bodog Battle of the Bands". As a visionary for one of the most original and dynamic bands in the region, S(p)TD was tapped to manage all the entertainment for a new live music venue called "I-5's" . While at I-5's he has built a reputation as one of the premier DJ's in the nation, getting offers to spin in Miami, Las Vegas, and LA- motivated to stay in Ohio to keep his family biz rocking, he found himself Producing & Engineering a show 3 nights a week for throngs of people.. this led S(p)TD to start "SG Entertainment Group". Specializing in Artist Management/Booking, Studio Recording, & Production, S(p)TD is once again on the cutting edge of New Music. You are looking at the page of an individual who can get you what you need in music, go ahead and msg him if you want the best in an agent/engineer/producer. If you want references- just ask! S(p)TD prides himself on the originality and high quality of his work; He thrives on collaboration and not only enjoy working with other driven, creative people but usually produces his best work that way...

Hey there! Hope every thing's going well! We try not to bug everyone on here too much but we have some updates to tell every one about so here goes =]... Our EP "The Uncertainty" Comes out this November! It'll be available on i tunes or directly from us for a little cheaper. Our Myspace is lame right now, but we have an awesome web designer on it and it should be finished soon. We will also be posting the studio versions of our songs within the next couple of days. Also check our show schedule out! We'll be filling it in in the coming weeks with our winter tour =] So we may just be coming to your town very soon =]
The Cleveland Tech Squad will be in house at the MIMS / Skatterman & Snug Brim show in SANDUSKY on Oct 15th with FREE K.O.D. posters and sampler CD's!
