In the short period of time I've been here on MySpace, I've been lucky enough to have reconnected with many old friends and make thousands of new ones- ALL of whom it's been my absolute pleasure to connect with and discover their many talents and great personalities!

Shawn Hill has been playing the drums since the age of eight. By the time he was thirteen years old, Shawn had already begun making record dates and was performing in nightclubs in his native Wilmington, DE, along with touring the East Coast. Soon thereafter, Shawn began touring and recording with various members of George Clinton's P-Funk All-Stars, sharing the stage with the likes of Maceo Parker, Bernie Woorell & The Woo Warriors, and Paliament/Funkadelic. After recording an album and touring the U.S. and Europe vigorously with rock group Comin' Correct, Shawn moved to New York City, where he currently resides. Shawn, now a regular in the NYC music scene, has currently been touring with artists such as funk/jazz legend Melvin Sparks and hip-hop/R&B vocalist Mary C., and recording with artists such as Reuben Wilson, Grant Green, Jr., and Wilbur Bascomb. A life-long fan and devoted listener of all musics great, Shawn Hill can be heard performing straight-ahead jazz, Latin, and funk as easily as he can be heard performing hip-hop, rock, and fusion.
