I am 6'0, 185 pds, and i have light brown hair and brown eyes. I work as a private trainer and a fitness model. My previous career, i worked in the
financial industry for four years as a financial advisor. After becoming"burnt
out" of working for an investment bank, i wanted to try someting new and fun. So i chose fitness modeling and personal training. You only live life once...
My hobbies are soccer weight lifting, reading, surfing and football. I am a scorpio by sign. love talking about the following topics: past life regression, karma, reincarnation and other spirtual topics, nutrition and health and fitness, history, travel, economics, politics, cosmology, astronomy, parapsychology...etc... i read a lot...lol
Humbly speaking, my best qualities are the following: my ablity to listen well, being passionate, affectionate, articulate, emotionally aware, spirtual, intelligent and somewhat wise...lol i'm still learning...lol
Culturally, i consider myself to be spanish or cuban. my mom is cuban and most of the family members and friends that i delt were spanish. so being passionate and communicative aretwo important traits. also, i grew up in the south, so being polite and courteous is important as well.I was born in new orleans, LA. I am half cuban, half irish. I attended ucla and majored in economics and philosophy.
Bio:
Shawn is one of the most popular trainers in Los Angeles. He has trained a variety of celebrities, was the founder of Perfect Body, Inc., has been a spokesperson for Time Warner, manages three health and fitness websites, was featured four times on KCAL 9 news 9 on the town, has appeared on a variety cable shows, runs a successful personal training practice, and is currently working on an infomercial.
His approach to fitness is both unique and compelling. He uses a three dimensional approach which includes the mind, body, and spirit. This approach has been extremely useful and effective to help people lose weight.
Shawns background is wide and diverse. He attended UCLA graduating with honors in Economics and Philosophy. While attending UCLA, Shawn was a model with the prestigious Ford Modeling Agency. After graduation, was hired by the esteemed investment bank, Merrill Lynch, as an institutional broker and then subsequently transferred over to Smith Barney to become a Financial Advisor. After his 4 year stay in finance, Shawns health was diminishing so he left the industry, starting a new career as a Fitness Consultant. Shawn is now an entrepreneur in the fitness industry focusing on personal training, public speaking, fitness modeling, and media. Shawn is certified with the National Academy of Sports Medicine and trains at Power House gym in West Los Angeles. He also does inhome training sessions in the following areas: Los Angeles, Venice, Santa Monica, Malibu, Pacific Palisades, Marina Del Rey, Century City, and Beverly Hills.
