GOD says to you this day, do not be ashamed of what you look like. I have made you with my own hand. You were fearfully and wonderfully made. I delight in the beauty of what I make. You were made in the glory of men, as men were made in the glory of GOD. Everytime you look in the mirror, I want you to declare my wonderful handiwork. I want you to see how articulate and careful I was to make every part of your body. My daughter, you are a princess. You are royalty.
Do not focus so much on your outward appearance which today is here, but tomorrow fades like the grass. I have made all things beautiful here on this earth, especially a human female. But there is something greater I desire. I desire that you would beautify your soul and your spirit. Yes, beauty is vain, and favor is deceitful. But a woman who fears the LORD shall be praised. Spend your days getting to know ME. For I am your GOD, and your KING. I am your future husband. I desire your spirit, because your spirit will last with ME forever in eternity. I love you my daughter. I want you to have a high self esteem, but not from your outward appearance. But from the beauty that is within you. Your beautiful spirit is much more pleasant in my sight than your physical appearance. I don't look at man's outer appearance. I the Lord your GOD, look on the heart.

The United Nations has designated today (June 8) as World Oceans Day. And countries around the world are following suit by holding events to acknowledge the importance of the world's oceans.
To honor the ocean, I've made a commitment to give up plastic bags. Plastic bags not only kill our animals, like whales, dolphins, seals, sea turtles, sea birds that consume them or are trapped in them, it also kills fish and animals in our food chain.
