Music
Noun: 1) Something very interesting to study in college, but without many real world ramifications.
Movies
My favorite movies either really make me laugh and are very quotable, or else they expose some tragically wonderful flaw of the human experience and make it beautiful and/or make you happy to be alive. Examples of the former: The Jerk, The Big Lebowski. Examples of the latter: Big Fish, Lost in Translation, Stranger Than Fiction, Little Miss Sunshine.
I also tend to enjoy testosterone driven action films, and if they have something to say about philosophy as well (see: Fight Club), well sir, you've probably created my favorite movie from high school, and, depending on my mood, my favorite movie of all time.
Television
The Sopranos, Arrested Development, The Wire (is anybody really a good guy in that show?), Football, Baseball, Friends, Jeopardy, Futurama, Scrubs
Books
I like them.
Heroes
I'm not sure; I need a hero, I'm holding out for a hero 'till the end of the night, but he's gotta be strong, and he's gotta be fast, and he's gotta be fresh from the fight.
Well, I saw MArshall asked my question so I'll just refer you to Marshall's comment. I wish I could come, but I couldn't work it out. Take lots of pictures. =)
