About me: I have always had a passion for all animals, especially the less-cuddly types. I remember being 7 years old and watching the Croc Hunter on Animal Planet and just being fascinated by the snakes, crocs, and lizards... After Steve's recent death, I thought I should do something to continue his legacy. That's where Shed Your Fears comes in.
I have decided to found a type of organization in which I plan to present educational shows to students, and anyone else that will listen. Using my own collection of reptiles, including some gorgeous snakes, lizards, toads, etc, and some wild-caught specimens, which will be released after the shows, I will show people the kinder side of reptiles.
Not only will I be doing educational programs, but I also plan on being a sort of "wrangler," by this I mean that I will voluntarily take snakes from places where they are unwanted, and relocate them to a safer place, a bit further from humans. My main concern with this adventure is the snakes' safety, I would prefer to let them be, but if they are otherwise going to be killed, I would most definately prefer to release them elsewhere.
If you have any questions, comments, or would like to set up a show, please feel free to e-mail me at Shed_Your_Fears@hotmail.com
thanks!
Jess

If you are interested in learning more about reptiles, or would like to set up a show for your birthday, family reunion, school, or other...give me a call or send me an email!
i'm good, haha I'm all over the place now....making friends on RG, then darkside, then over to myspace....although not sure if I have you on RG? I just recently moved to NY so i left all my friends back home...this has been a good way to meet people and especially people who are into herps. So far most people i've told about having 23 snakes think it's "wierd". Sometimes i'll get people who think it's super cool so i end up telling them all about the different morphs, and snake breeding. I like it when that happens but it's not most of the time. These are my boas
